PHYLLIS M. READ Phyllis M. Read, beloved mother of Janissa Read and Susan May, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at her residence, Fairview Personal Care Home, on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at the age of 91 years. Prayers were held at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Brandon, Manitoba, on Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at the church on Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Celebrant was Rev. Fr. Dominic Yuen. Interment followed in the Rosewood Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Phyllis may be made to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200-17th Street East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 7M6 or to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, #4B-457-9th Street, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 1K2.
